BHCC Ministries

MEN

The goal of the men's ministry is to be better that we were last year in all aspects of our lives: Better husbands, fathers, friends, and as CHRISTIANS!!! We wish to recruit more men to work in the kingdom, and continue to make repairs, fix, update, and maintain Blessed Hope.

WOMEN

The purpose of the women’s ministry is to unify the women through prayer, hearing of God’s word, love and encouragement of one another. We believe that all women have a purpose and heart to please God and are virtuous.

YOUTH

The vision of the Youth Ministry of BHCC is to help develop the children of BHCC and the Hampton Roads community both spiritually and physically as they grow into young men and women of God. Proverbs 22:6 say, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Our goal is to teach our children how to deal with the issues of life by using the Word of God not only as a guide, but as a weapon for spiritual warfare.

COUPLES

Marriage is the most intimate of human relationships, a gift from God, and a sacred institution. We believe that the marriage should be sacred, holy, and even central to the community of faith,

Blessed Hope's Couples Ministry is designed to provide a rich well of resources for the married couples in the church. The Couples Ministry is designed to enrich the lives of the couples. Through monthly fellowship, workshops, conferences, and recreation, the Couples Ministry brings couples closer to God while developing a more intimate relationship with one another that is divinely influenced and spiritually balanced.

SINGLES

The Singles Ministry is a ministry dedicated to the development of maturity, character, integrity, and stability in the lives of single individuals at BHCC. We are not a dating service. We aim to assist the Singles of BHCC in learning how to seek God first! We stress HOLINESS as a lifestyle before God and man, and WHOLENESS as a MUST for a victorious life in Christ. Our method for achieving this is through teaching the Word of God, as well as, through praying and fellowshipping with one another and other single ministries in the body of Christ.

VESSELS OF HONOR

Vessels of Honor, also know as the Pastor's Aide ministry is responsible for taking care of the needs of the Pastors as well as commemorating important dates and times throughout the year. The Vessels of Honor Ministry ensures certain areas regarding the Pastors needs within the church are addressed to include the pastor's mental, emotional, financial and spiritual needs.
